Welcome to the Legal Services Section
Our core mandate is to offer legal advisory and support services for students, helping them navigate issues that may arise during their time at the university. We provide advice on matters related to student rights, university regulations, disputes, and other legal concerns that affect student life.
We assist students in understanding university policies and procedures, including disciplinary matters, contracts, tenancy issues in student accommodation, and other agreements they may enter into while on campus. We also facilitate access to legal resources and, where necessary, coordinate with external legal professionals to provide more specialized support.
Additionally, we organize awareness programs and workshops to educate students on their legal rights and responsibilities. By promoting knowledge of the law and university regulations, we help students make informed decisions and maintain a safe, fair, and respectful campus environment.
Through these services, we aim to ensure that students at Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology have access to reliable legal guidance, helping them navigate challenges confidently while upholding the principles of justice, integrity, and fairness within the university community.
