Welcome to the Medical Services Section.
Our core mandate is to provide comprehensive medical services to students, including preventive care, treatment of illnesses and injuries, health education, and emergency response. We operate with the goal of maintaining a healthy student population by offering accessible, efficient, and professional medical support.
We manage the university health facilities and collaborate with trained medical staff to deliver services that meet established health standards. We attend to students who require medical attention, offer routine check-ups, provide medication, and ensure timely referral to specialized health facilities when necessary.
In addition, we promote awareness on health and wellness issues, including hygiene, nutrition, sexual and reproductive health, mental wellbeing, and disease prevention. We also respond to medical emergencies on campus and work closely with other university departments to ensure student safety and wellbeing.
Through these efforts, we contribute to creating a safe and healthy learning environment at Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology, where students can thrive academically and personally knowing that their health needs are supported and prioritized.
